About every six months, I release my personal Phillies Prospect Rankings, and here they are for the 2024-2025 off season. (non debuted player rankings) I wanted to release this off seasons before the Phillies make any moves or potentially lose players during the rule 5 draft. The same goes for each time I do this. I am not an expert when it comes to prospects, but I do follow it more than the typical baseball fan. The data I have access to remains limited, as statcast isn’t available in High A, Double A and even the DSL and FCL. I tend to value harder throwers with good stuff higher, hitters with good batted ball data, good exit velocities and disciplined at the plate. With that being said, players who have played at Clearwater in 2023 or 2024 I may favor more than others due to the availability of statcast which isn’t everything in evaluation but plays a helpful part. As always, there are a lot of names you’ve probably never heard of, but in a few years you might.
