It never ceases to amaze me how time flies when you’re painting. I honestly think I’d struggle to work for myself and spend my working life alone if painting wasn’t my job. I’m in my own head for so much of the day but as soon as I get into the rhythm of a painting, my headspace becomes unusually peaceful and uninterrupted.
