In 2019, we met for the first time the group Unidos de Santa Fé in São Luís do Maranhão, Northeast Brasil. Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, Bumba-meu-boi is a Brazilian cultural expression that originated in the 18th century that reimagines and keeps Brasil's history alive. It's a celebration that combines faith, art, dance, and music in a play that follows the beats of the drums and hearts. Our love for Brazilian culture has inspired the FARM Rio <3 Boi de Santa Fé partnership, a dreamlike collection bringing together the folkloric festivity of Bumba-meu-boi with our prints.
