7 @MartinParrFDN highlights from 2022 ⚡️ 🤓 01 / 2022 saw the third edition of @BOP_Bristol, our annual #photobook festival held with The @RoyalPhotographicSociety. 💜 02 / MPF commissioned photographic artist @Rene.Matic to develop a new body of work in #Bristol next year. This project will go on display in the MPF gallery in 2023. ⚡️ 03 / @CafeRoyalBooks exhibited 167 prints and 500 zines from the CRB archive in the MPF show - Café Royal Books. Zines, Documentary and Subversion. 📸 04 / Martin Parr received his CBE in a small ceremony that took place in the MPF gallery, which was awarded in the Queen’s 2021 birthday honours for services to #photography. ✨ 05 / We worked with @ThePhotographersGallery on their Chris Killip Retrospective, where they are exhibiting a large number of works from the #MPFcollection. ✂️ 06 / Justine Kurland / @Justine4good delivered a unique SCUMB MANIFESTO workshop in the MPF gallery, following her recent publication, the Society for Cutting Up Men’s Books. 🙌 07 / We worked with @Kavi_Pujara to develop and exhibit his project This Golden Mile. Kavi had previously received an MPF bursary to support the development of this work.
