Little late for a JOs post but I’ve been a little off my game lately! Wanted to give a shoutout to the man @kylegarratt7, who has quietly shown extremely impressive growth for a thrower with less than 2 years of experience (PRs of 60’4 in shot put and 175’3 in discus). Took silver at AAU Junior Olympics and came one foot foul shy of what would’ve been good for gold in a final where he was the smallest athlete! Kyle is a guy who has worked his ass off and expected very little recognition in return, always striving to be better in some way. Certainly wish I could’ve had him a little longer but I know that he’s destined for some bigger stuff at the college level when he continues to put it all together 👏
