happy mother’s day to the woman who raised me completely on her own, even when she technically wasn’t on her own. i will be forever grateful for everything you did for me as a child and everything you continue to do for me as an adult. whether it was keeping a roof over my head (which you still do) or whether it was supporting me when i very suddenly decided that a career in teaching is not for me and that i instead want to be a counsellor because i know that sudden change worried you but you supported me anyway. i think my biggest thank you has to be for giving me the fangirl gene. there is no one i’d rather travel the country (and sometimes to other countries) with meeting our favourite people from our favourite shows. thank you for buying us tickets to our first con in 2018 because i genuinely can’t imagine my life without us meeting the cast of tvd, pll, supernatural and stranger things just to name a few. what is really special is when the celebs complement us on our tight bond, it must really shine through. you are the only person i know who is crazy enough to meet the same celebs over and over again and see the same artists over and over again, including 5 james arthur shows next year when we’ve already seen him 7 times. here’s to many more adventures❤️‍🩹xxxx
