2024 was a tough one for our little family… we had to say goodbye to our beloved fur babies Kaiser (13) on April 2 and Elle Marie (almost 19) on April 22. On somewhat of a whim, while producing a magazine cover shoot in fall of 2023, I asked photographer Erik Meadows if he ever did family portraits with pets. Though that’s not really his beat (he shoots for magazines & major brands), he graciously said he’d do it. I’m so glad! I miss Elle and Kaiser more than I can say, but this portrait makes my heart happy. . . . . 📸: @erikmeadows
