THE GITHYANKI WARRIOR 🐉 Machine (Lae’zel’s Song) - lae’zel of crèche k’liir is a faithful follower and a ferocious fighter with a stubborn sense of justice. beyond the surface she is also surprisingly curious and a well of honest, hard-won vulnerability. her complexity is as boundless as her devotion, and i’m awestruck and inspired by both. i am absolutely thrilled that hers is the first installment of @poeticghoul and i’s baldur’s gate 3 song series! bg3 is a masterpiece that has changed my life in every way. i’m so delighted to be expressing my gratitude for it through my art. this piece is a tribute to the lovely lae’zel as performed by the equally lovely @devorawilde and all of the incredible people at @larianstudios who worked to bring her to life. her beautiful story is nuanced and meticulous, and i wanted to portray her journey from willing cog to emotive leader with sensitivity and compassion.
