With all this talk of records it has me reminiscing... and I’m SO excited bc I just got a new house that finally has a trophy case and I just finished putting them all up! 🙌🏻 so many happy and incredible memories with a lot of sacrifice and unfortunately, a lot of surgeries. Honestly, just being able to ski after most of my injuries was a victory in itself. And I still think it was all worth it, even though I’m now paying the price, physically. Still, I have no regrets. I always left everything both on and off the mountain, and I am proud of that. From what started off as a little girl from Minnesota, who just loved skiing with her Dad, to breaking records I never thought possible. Now it’s time for the next generation! Picabo Street inspired this 9 year old girl to ski 90 mph down a mountain, so I can’t wait to see what the generation of skiers Mikaela is inspiring will do next. Let’s go 🇺🇸!
