EMBROIDERY 🧵 The combination of bright colorful sugar flowers and the hand-piped gilded embroidery pattern from Mohini’s saree is EVERYTHING. Could I have used a stencil and skipped hours and hours of hand-cramping piping with a ‘000’ tip? Sure, but then it wouldn’t have been so special or so couture. To match the pattern exactly from an important piece of clothing is such a unique and thoughtful way to tie multiple elements of your day together. One of my favorite cakes to date.
