Cisterna Kylie (Chyli) Jenner ✨ Y’all, this little sassy sac is located at the lower end of your thoracic duct. That’s the super highway that brings the lymphatic fluid collected from the lower body (from your toes to your ovaries— ALL of it) and brings it back up to that magical place where it returns to your bloodstream once the lymph has been filtered for recycling. The cisterna chyli receives this weird, totally not gross, white...milky substance (called chyle, like Kyle) from the intestines, so the sac acts as a conduit for the lipid products of our digestion. It doesn’t do much, not a lymph node but for teaching purposes we like to call it “the largest lymph node in your body” because it can indeed need a little extra TLC to get/keep things moving!
