2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. - After a lot of thought and deep contemplation, I have accepted an opportunity to be the throws coach at Eastern Mennonite University. This opportunity came incredibly fast and the decision was not an easy one. Charlotte is a place I’ve called home for the last 7 years and a place that I credit with giving me the opportunity to prove I could develop athletes to an elite level. In 2020 I set out with a dream to “revolutionize the sport” and take high school throws to a new level in the state of North Carolina. 2024 was a record year for NC in the throwing events and I am proud to see many of the athletes in our club leading that charge. As I turn the page to the next chapter, it certainly feels like the mission was accomplished and that the future is incredibly bright. - I want to thank all the athletes of Throws Revolution for putting their trust in me. Seeing them grow and gain confidence has been my greatest accomplishment. I now encourage everyone to put that same trust in Coach Terrell Adams, who will be taking over coaching for the club in North Carolina. With him, I know the club is in good hands. I additionally want to thank Coach Marchinko and Pfeiffer University for the opportunity to get my start in collegiate coaching. While my time with the team was short, I certainly hope I left a positive mark on the program. - I’m excited to begin the next chapter in a picturesque new home with fantastic new facilities. Just because I’m leaving NC certainly doesn’t mean I’m done with Throws Revolution. With the new facility, camps and clinics are certainly in future plans, so stay tuned on that front 👀. For now, however, I’d just like to say thanks to everyone who has made this journey special. It’s been an honor. - Coach Pete
