I’ve never felt intimacy with an artist energy through their Art until now. That’s how powerful @guadalupe__maravilla installation/ portals / energy healing vortex’s really are. 🐺🦋🐸 Walking and learning about each piece made me so emotional because I’ve never felt so connected to another human’s journey, I felt so understood and seen. Pictures do no justice, they don’t capture the intricacy and the story that Guadalupe is pouring out of his soul for us to experience. The way his journey from crossing the border from El Salvador to his healing practices are told through art is something I’ve never experienced or seen before. Having experienced the same journey myself and having very similar healing practices makes me feel like the universe puts us in these spaces for a very important and big reason. If you live in NY, I urge you to experience this. It’s one of the most beautiful exhibits I have ever experienced. Thank you Guadalupe for your authenticity and for sharing your magic and your pains with us. 🤎
