I’m honored to be highlighted in the @nyjewishweek’s “36 to watch” list for my contributions to the Jewish community through this account and @ShabbatClub! I have combed this list every year since college, and it’s surreal to see my own name alongside so many impressive New Yorkers (and good friends!) who are doing incredible things for our city and its Jewish community. Shabbat Club was born less than a year ago, and for it to be recognized as playing a small part in reuniting NYC Jews as we navigate tough times is the perfect reminder that even in the face of challenges, tradition and community brings us all comfort and strength. It’s inspired by my time at @loxclub, my love of food, and also my safta, who passed away two years ago and made me who I am today. Congratulations to the 35 Jewish leaders, educators, innovators, and activists that I get to share this honor with. You’re all invited to Shabbat 🤝🏼
