What’s your mission in life? This is a question that popped up this last week, and shook me a bit. - Tbh I’ve been feeling a little (a lot) lost in life as of late. Wondering will there ever be more than this, Being overwhelmed with work and the day to day grind, feeling like I’m always swimming upstream, lack of sleep from the season of life with Lennon which leaves me feeling like a zombie most days. But simultaneously feeling like I’m never doing enough. This isn’t a poor me moment I just know we all end up here sometimes. My point is lately I’ve lost sight of what my mission is, or more so actually walking it out. - More than what I get to do for a living documenting moments in people lives. My mission is to just love people. I want to leave people better than I found them. Not in a weird way, but I want people to feel loved, seen, and heard when they leave me. I want to make people to know how important their life is. I want them to know there is hope if they are in a dark place. If you knew me before I knew Jesus you would know I’m living proof of hope in a dark place. I want everyone to know there is so much more. - Working, getting married, having a family, saving money, eat, sleep, repeat. While all these are great just know your life has more purpose to it than just living. - So just a little something to think about, what is your mission in life?
