Montelvini Masterclass - Beyond terroir❤ An exclusive masterclass was conducted in collaboration with Alberto Serena, CEO and fourth-generation representative of the Montelvini family, who leads some of the most esteemed wineries in Asolo. The discussion centred on three distinguished wines—FM333, Zuiter Montello Colli Asolani DOC, and Zuiter Montello Rosso DOCG—explored through a vertical tasting. FM333 is particularly notable as the first cru in Asolo. Its unique vinification process, involving a single fermentation from must, enhances its creamy texture and allows for the seamless integration of sugar with delicate fruit notes. Zuiter Bianco, crafted from Incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13, originates from a single vineyard with poor, chalky soils. A judicious use of oak during maturation lends the wine both body and weight while preserving its vibrant acidity. Zuiter Rosso, a Bordeaux blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, epitomises the distinctive terroir of Asolo, offering refinement and elegance.
