Collaboration is so fucking important. With every single shoot I do, it never fails that when the entire team buys in and is collaborative, the result is something we can be proud of. I’ll never be an artist that believes that my vision is the only one and I’ll never understand the ego that accompanies that belief. Im so excited by the people I get to work with. It’s motivating to create with talented stylists, artists, producers, etc. and it pushes me to create something special with all of us. The lone wolf king of the castle attitude is outdated. It’s all about community and these relationships we build. I’ve thought a lot about community recently and I miss it. I, like most, have been a lot more isolated over the past few years and I’m over it. Fuck Zoom. Let’s get coffee, or meet up and shoot around the city, or eat an insanely awesome meal at a huge table.
