If you're a dedicated sunscreen wearer, you know what happened next... -can you tell I'm a Halloween-Fangirl? 😉 Ok, so cutting up a sunscreen tube to get the last bit of it out is frugal, but only advisable for the last 1-2 applications within a day after cutting it open. Just leave enough space so you can clip it shut with one of those snack bag/ freezer bag clips. Then you can 'close' it after scraping a bit out. Remember: it's best to keep air (and germs and light) out of the formulation as much as possible so that it doesn't break down. Transferring the last bit to a different container like a jar that can be screwed shut or my clip-hack are only safe when everything's clean and you don't keep it for too long after. And please don't mix it with other sunscreens! But most importantly: find one you like and then USE your sunscreen!
