I’m happy to say I’m officially certified to teach yoga! I completed a 200/hr course in Toronto with @modoyoga as a way to deepen my practice and to get comfortable guiding others through asanas. I gotta admit, it was challenging at times on my physical & mental (12 hour days with 2-3 practices a day.. epsom salt baths helped a lot)... and was a sad shift to go from in-person to online when COVID derailed us (basically I was taking the course in my AirBnb), but I really had the time of my life in Toronto. And met some incredible souls. I’ve long benefitted from the practice. It’s changed the way I respond to stress, connected me to my body, made me stronger and more flexible, and most importantly reminded me to inhale. And exhale. It’s helped me stay balanced in LA, where having a career in the music industry feels anything BUT balanced (can I get an Asé?).
