@runtherut x @inclusiveoutdoorsproject Ok, so most days I talk in generalities and from a 30,000 ft view, but to me what it really comes down to is how those ideologies that I hold close show up in real life: ON THE GROUND. The thing I’m constantly looking for from my relationships; the people and companies, is how we are transforming empathy into action, and because of that mindset, I work to do the same in my day-to-day. A lil bit of walk the talk you know what I’m saying? The trickle-down that I want to see that creates change. A few weekends ago we at @inclusiveoutdoorsproject in partnership with @runtherut were able to reserve 50 spots for Adaptive, BIPOC, and Queer runners. Let's just say our bucket is overflowing with joy. This is what our country looks like: intersectional AF, Diverse AF, LOUD AF! The transformations we experienced that weekend were beyond priceless! And the cherry on top was continuously hearing that “we were the cool kids” when it comes to our vibe! Creating spaces like this is our mission and we are very grateful to have amazing partners to make it happen. Deep appreciation to @runtherut and @mikefootemt, @onxbackcountry, and @skratchlabs for helping support us in creating accessible, inclusive, and affordable spaces for us all. This is what we’re talking about! We know we’re not perfect in any way, but the best part is that we’re all working together to create spaces that welcome all cultures that are held in our BODIES and MINDS.
