It’s been a beautiful weekend at @dcjazzfest! I’m so grateful and blessed to have won the DC Jazz Prix with my incredible band that are my family. It was beautiful to meet and listen to all the finalist bands, they all sounded really amazing and were inspiring. Thanks to DC Jazz Festival for bringing light, hope and sense of community in such a hard moment in this beautiful city. I believe that as an artist we should keep fighting the good fight and feeding the fire of the hope for a better world for everyone. Music is about community and being able to share it with others and that’s what this weekend about. Thanks everyone for the support and messages, we felt the love!! Love y’all!!
