Happy Tuesday y'all! I was reminded last week, that image is a very powerful thing. How we show up in the world matters. While attending a work event, with approximately 3,200 high school students in attendance, I was asked by students if I was a celebrity.😱 This happened a couple of times during the day. Mind you, I never had a microphone in my hand nor did I speak publicly that day. I was not on stage, nor near the stage, during the event. Why would they think I was a celebrity? One young lady even asked for my autograph. 😱 I asked her if she thought I was someone. She said she didn't know, but she still wanted my autograph. I obliged.🤷🏾‍♀️ I was wearing my company polo shirt, yellow trousers, and sneakers. Clearly, not the wardrobe of the stars, but there was something (confidence, perhaps) that gave them the impression that I was someone. Anywho, just a crazy story I wanted to share.
