Happy Year of the Ox! ❤️🐮 I cried a lot this past year. So many people are hurting, including those within my community. Within this past year the rise in Anti-Asian hate crimes have increased by 1900% and targeting our most vulnerable elders. Each attack breaking my heart that much more. I am proud to be Asian-American. I am proud of my Oakland and San Francisco Chinatown roots and celebrate my heritage. I deeply believe in love and solidarity over hate and division and wish you all so much love and light from the bottom of my heart. One thing that I’ve really learned this year is how important it is to take the time to care for myself and my heart, and something I wish to share with you too! To start the Lunar New Year off with something that brings me personal peace and center (and to also celebrate Valentine’s Day, the day of love!), I invite you to breathe and stretch with me, guided by my wonderful friend and yoga queen @i_stefano this Sunday at 1 PST on IGlive!!
