Drinks/bar station Now we’re talking! Matt has fixed the antique mirror splash back to the wall so this area is pretty much complete. When designing our kitchen we decided to make the play room slightly smaller to give the open plan space at the back better symmetry. And in doing this it meant we could squeeze in a small bar area. Close enough to the kitchen but also next to the games room which will be ideal for the boys in later years 😫 Swipe to see the space mid build. It provides great storage for glasses, beverages, and we’ve put a smart small wine cooler which is looking a little neglected, don’t worry I’ll be filling her up tonight 😂 We have a weekend of Thanksgiving celebrations 🇨🇦 Abby @gingernestinteriors came up with the idea of a contrasting colour to the kitchen and it has been so effective 🖤 Abby also suggested the mesh door fronts, they make it feel like a bar right? And then the brass handles tying it in with the kitchen nicely.
