So this is it, the BIG 5 Year all-clear from cancer day. On this day back in 2017, I completed my treatment at the end of the most difficult period of my life. Today, 5 years later, is a very happy day and one to celebrate life and happiness and to be thankful for how lucky I am to still be here. I really just want to thank everyone who was there for me back then and for all the support I received - I will never forget it. I especially want to thank my family and friends and the most caring husband, who was always there and looked after me in the darkest hours. Oh, and a huge shout out to the NHS consultants, doctors and nurses at Charing Cross Hospital, who both treated me and, of course, had to put up with me!
