Here I am a few weeks back on Lake Como shooting this gorgeous bride with my 8x10 Deardorff view camera. Shot a bunch of 8x10 Polaroid as well 8x10 green sensitive X-ray film. Both of the images here are Polaroid. We shoot tons of super clean pretty images on any given wedding day but I always gravitate toward these intentionally less than perfect frames. Anyone who knows this process knows this is tricky to pull off in the course of a wedding. You have to process the 8x10 Polaroid in the field as you shoot it. It’s not the Polaroid that OutKast sings about. You most definitely don’t want to shake it. It’s a two part process in which you feed the exposed image positive and a receiver sheet through a hand cranked device that laminates them together. W/ @jendelesie
