Sober Warrior. ✨ Born and raised in New York. Spent many years crisscrossing the country in search of "home" -- only to realize that I was trying to out-run myself. Landed in Charlotte, NC in 2018. Loving the #704. ✨ My heart stopped at 7:04 on December 15th, 2016. 4 times. Needless to say, it was a life-changing, eye-opening experience... where fear meets gratitude. As a survivor, I thought I had to prove my worth to deserve my spot here. It wasn't until I gave up alcohol that I became aware that I had been feeling this way my whole life. (And that needed to change). ✨ I gave up alcohol on 5.6.19. Put myself in rehab + found my center. Upon leaving, I decided I was never going back. My last "drink" was cheap chardonnay in a plastic cup, in the car, on Cinco de Mayo. ✨ I'm a restaurant girl + foodie. I thought I would have to give it all up to be sober.
