I went expecting a party in the woods. Instead there was inspiration. A powerful transformative experience of families melting together over the love of the carry, and a mainlined dose of mythology underneath the growing full moonlight and some of the most electrified floors I've ever pranced upon. This weekend we ushered in a proper end to the divorce between the drag stage and the dance floor, and the collective healing of a community of artists freaks and party girls that is quite frankly making gay history. I tricked myself into a 'no big deal' mindset to avoid vomiting onstage opening the @thecarrynation_nyc set with a classic carry track at 2AM on Saturday, but hitting the floor with @djnita and @willautomagic at their peak sorcery that night really drove home that indeed it was one of life's great cumshots.
