Yesterday was one for the history books. If you haven’t heard, @leamichele is out with Covid. I am so bummed for her, as she has been working so hard and performing so brilliantly. Wishing her a speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹 I’ll be on through Sunday the 18th if you’d like to catch me in the role; Lea is back on the 20th and then I’ll return to my normal Thursday schedule. Meanwhile, a moment to celebrate @barbaratirrell212. She was hired on Friday, drove down Saturday morning from MA, had 30 min of rehearsal, and was in the show, script in hand, as Mrs. Meeker for the matinee. Didn’t miss a beat. Just... WOW!!! All the props to our dance captain @cbcoasters who helped make this happen - and who was also playing 1 principal track plus 3 ensemble tracks all in one last night. #mvp It is taking an army of people both backstage and onstage to keep @funnygirlbwy open as we face this particularly intense bout of Covid. 👏 all around.
