Bengali Tomato, Khajoor and Aamsotto Chutney 🍅🥭#RecipeAlert 🚨 This one is super special because the recipe is given to my by Chef @zavher and it’s a staple in her home! I’m adding this to the chutney series for you guys since you loved it so much! ❤️ Ingredients: Tomato 4 large roughly chopped Aam papad 50 GM's chopped fine Khajoor 6 to 8 cut fine Kismis a few Ginger juice 1 Tsp Fennel seeds 1 Tsp Whole red chili 1 Aamchur pdr 1 Tsp Salt to taste Oil 1 tbsp Method: Heat oil Add the red chilli and saunf. Let it splutter . Add in the tomatoes, salt , cover and let it cook for about 5 mins . Mash the tomatoes with the back of your spoon. Add in the ginger , dates raisins and aampapad. Cover and let it cook for about 8 to 10 mins till nice and glossy and medium thick consistency . If you feel the need you may add jaggery. P.S. with the khajoor and Aam paapad you don’t need to add sugar. It’s nice and glossy and sweet! Do drop a ❤️ if you loved this and I hope you try it at home!
