So the news is out and yes it’s true your gurl is a WHOLE SNEAKER DESIGNER! - making history! 🙏🏾 and I cant believe that it’s finally time to share with the world what i’ve been working on thanks to @nike and my #YARDRUNNERS family! Having the opportunity to design my own dunk low that pays homage to my HBCU @cau1988 is a dream come true! 🥹 When the team at Nike asked me what I want my legacy to be after we make history with this collaboration, my answer was for little black kids from New Orleans to grow up with an example of someone who looks like them who got it out the mud and dreamed BIG and continues to make all of her dreams a reality! 🙏🏾 “Life ain’t no crystal stair” but always remember to keep climbing, and pull the ones that got “it” up with you!
