This was my first time shooting a J Cole set. Too Deep for the Intro def hits harder in person, I remember how much I listened to Friday Night Lights in high school on them hour long bus rides in the winter after long days photographing my high school’s basketball games ... I never thought I’d hear it live, but I ended up hearing it live in a whole nother country while shooting Cole’s set ... this was def an unreal moment for me; it can be crazy how life comes back around at times.
