Here is my submission for the @bayphotolocal film contest! #bpfilmcontest This is one of my favorite film photos because of the memories that surface when I look at it! When I am beneath the surface on only one breath of air, I am fully and completely present. When I shoot film underwater, I take my time to observe first, fix my aperture and distance on my Nikonos v, and then when the moment is right I take a photo. This shot was taken in French Polynesia, where I lived for a month, spending all my time in the water. The coral and marine life there is stunning, and its always so much fun to watch all of the tropical fish weave in and out of their coral home! Shot on Kodak 400 TX with my Nikonos v!
