We are celebrating the rescue and freedom of more lives from human trafficking as well as justice for perpetrators. The news broke this morning that police across Europe have arrested about 130 people suspected of involvement in human trafficking in a joint operation carried out by 22 countries. According to Europol, the police actions led to more than 100 possible victims of human trafficking being identified. This was a major collaborative effort with nearly two dozen countries participating in this operation inclusive of about 22,500 law enforcement officers.
