Cannot believe I had the chance to have dinner with ultimate film maestro S.S. Rajamouli. We talked about how he structures his storytelling around emotional action, bonding feeling with kinetics to create constant peaks. We talked about his use of the Bhagavad Gita in RRR - in one of the most subtle, profound, and clear expressions of a character’s spiritual life I’ve seen in a movie (which brilliantly illuminated ideas from the text I’ve been reading every day for two years.)
