I took this photo on April 19th 2015, a mere six days before the catastrophic earthquake hit Nepal, resulting in the substantial loss of human lives, entire villages, and historical infrastructure. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't feel extremely lucky to have returned home safely from this trip. .
