Nothing is made alone. I love making videos, especially when they’re made as a family. This one was probably the most collaborative one in my career. @rundatback & @name___date___ hit me up, we had coffee and juice at CJ’s a few times. Threw ideas around. @_guillermo_garza and @aguitainc said they’re in to help do the shoot straight away. Memo gave us his cameras. @terr_watson3 & @trois_ jumped straight in from a flight from Paris, fighting through the jet lag. We spent days shooting this as a small unit. The entire cast is Maxo’s family and friends. @prohibited.amor came out and styled everyone with his amazing clothes. @pinksiifu came out and was game for everything. @iaintrimble helped us when Memo had to fly out. @staygoldenla jumped in with the vfx because they’re old friends and are passionate about making work. @somesuchandco always had my back and supported every move. @darolkae_ came out scouting and threw ideas around. @timmynasher always game. @iamallimaxwell 100% supportive. The list goes on. No part of this was made alone. A family affair. I appreciate the people around me that help create the work that I feel is important for our souls.
