Over the past ten months, i have been one of the participants in @photoaccess_inc Concept to Publication project tutored and mentored by @davidhempenstall It has culminated in the production of extraordinary photobooks with wonderful thematic diversity by @beatafeleklusia @drcasphotography @magnolia_learning @con boekel @onepluszeroequalsten @ianhoughtonphotography @jamiehladky @louise_grayson rob lee @sara.edson and myself! I do thank @photoaccess_inc for strongly supporting this project and choosing to feature our photobooks across all three galleries. The exhibition will officially open on Thursday 13 October at 6.00pm The concept of my book explores transient space via still black and white photos of mounds of dirt. These mundane seemingly quiet structures are in a constant state of change and renewal as they are shaped and re-shaped by weather and human intervention. It is within this transitory space of unnoticed change and movement which is the space between, and is analogous of those everyday quiet subtle changes between people...with a sneak peek of the book in this video.
