This is an invitation to a new conversation - to talk about what's actually happening. To build a foundation of solidarity with trans people and begin there. We are building a movement of love. Love in the form of showing up and fighting back. Watching all of the comments and tweets and honestly the silence has been chipping away at me little by little. It's been chipping away at all of our humanity. ⁣ ⁣ First and foremost, the fact that when we hear trans we think "fairness in sports" is by design. People who are greedy for power design these "political wedges" over and over again to keep us divided. To keep us in discussion about Lia Thomas while they are busy taking children from loving homes and working to unwind legislation that legalized gay marriage, interracial marriage, and access to birth control. The ultimate distraction tactic and too many of us fall for it. ⁣ ⁣ This campaign is a response to the relentless legislative attacks on trans youth happening across the country. These policies are anti-woman, anti-human, and specifically anti-trans. This is an emergency and we will show up as such. ⁣ ⁣ LOVE IS: understanding that my liberation is tied up in your liberation and I will never stop fighting for us.
