I am very excited to announce that I will be appearing at @format_festival in Bentonville AR this coming September 23 through 25. They have a truly stellar lineup of big guns as well as featuring many lesser-known but very deserving artists, including local talent. I'll actually be playing two different shows there, each very special and totally different. Both will be taking place in The Cube, a special stage area with an astounding Soundscape multichannel audio rig by @dbaudiotechnik_gmbh ! The first one on Saturday 24 will be a "Live Stems Mix" performance, which consists of my doing a DJ set composed of live remixes right in front of the audience. Mostly danceable disco and soul records, now presented in a completely new fashion. Then on Sunday 25 get ready for my 'Surround Sound Experience' where I will be doing a full-on multichannel listening show, more laid-back and extremely eclectic, it will showcase some personal picks selected from among the best and most immersive surround sound mixes across the board. Expect Pink Floyd, Hendrix, Steely Dan, Steven Wilson and just as well some very dark, immersive electronica.... and everything in between. This really is a dream come true, being able to share some of the very special things I do on a truly spectacular large-scale sound system. Hoping some of you will be able to join me there!
