About the project, @dusty.patches says: "I conceived this album as a musical accompaniment to a series of visual artworks by @jennifercroninart. It was composed and mixed entirely within my modular synth, and recorded in a single take. It was performed live at the gallery opening on June 1st, 2019. Through making this record I came to learn about the realities of climate change and the village of Newtok, Alaska. I'm beyond excited to release this album into the world."
