✨Incorporating Paper Can Transform Your Looks!✨ . Today's throwback is a few of my favorite looks that I achieved using card stock paper! Using Paper is a fun and creative way to add design concepts to your makeup looks. This is also great for those of you that don’t have access to prosthetics or more elaborate sculpting material. I discovered a lot through trying, so now I want to share some tips and products I wish I had before I started: 1) There’s a lot of sources for paper. You’ll be surprised if you ask around many people, school, businesses and friends have loads of paper laying around they will never use. When in doubt, go to a art store! @blickartmaterials has an amazing selection of paper in larger sizes. 2) Experiment with different papers. Certain card stock absorbs paint differently which will determine how many layers of paint you will need to apply, which leads me to my next tip. 3) Check for opacity level of your paint. I’ve found using Acrylic paints from @blickartmaterials line, @goldenpaints & @holbeinartistmaterials have an amazing variety with great coverage. But within a brand note some colors are more opaque than others so read the label. 4) Try mediums! Make your paint blend easier, or opaque, textured, glossy with mediums. @goldenpaints mixing media helps with blending & application. 5) Get a variety of brushes! I typically paint with A LOT of brushes in one setting, I use the best brush for each stage. I use a lot of medium soft brushes that help me blend with control. Some of my favorite paint brushes to use are @craftamo & @blickartmaterials variety of brands. 6) Use Drawing tools! I love tools that help me draw my design. A good ruler is a must, but so are french curves and ring rulers for elegant curves and perfect circles. 7) Pro Tip! Get a Contour Gauge! These marketed for construction jobs, but perfect for aligning your facial features!
