Inside Rippon Lea Estate. For my shoot with Izzy from @eventden we were lucky enough to be let inside Rippon Lea Estate for portraits. This is only a recent allowance (to shoot portraits in the mansion itself not just the grounds) so of course I was excited to be surrounded by history and photograph in this stunning old residence. It feels like we’re in Europe in though walls. Fun fact: in my late teens and early twenties I worked in catering at Rippon Lea for mostly weddings. I still remember standing on the side of the dance-floor watching the first dance or speeches and it always bringing a tear to my eye. It’s strange to think that back then I didn’t know what my future would hold, that 12 years on I’m now photographing weddings!
