We compare our work to others and ask ourselves why our pad work doesn’t look as “perfect” as other artists’... it’s a vicious cycle of self-comparison 🫤 5 Tips for Intentional PMU Practice ▪️ Use light pressure while outlining and overlap your strokes 50%-70% ▪️ Loosen up your grip! A heavy grip = heavy pressure ▪️ Avoid using your wrist or thumb while practicing, instead use your pointer finger and middle finger to swing back and forth. ▪️ Get into flow and rhythm as you practice, avoid being so stiff and rigid ▪️ Lastly, be patient with yourself.
