This has been the highlight of my summer. It has truly been a blessing to be able to go back to Africa to mentor and coach such a special group of kids. I was able to pass along some knowledge not only in basketball but in life as well. Some of these kids look up to us as role models and aspire to play ball in college. Some of them have dreams to play professionally and to make a better life for themselves and their families. It gives me great joy to know that I was able to add some value to their journey. This was my first time ever attending the BWB camp and I’m glad I was able to make it this year. Btw I was able to see my Mom again after several years! God is the greatest.
