First things first: if you don’t have an espresso or nespresso machine, all is not lost: cold brew works well, too! I recently perfected my at-home espresso martini recipe, and had to share just in time for the holidays. Here’s what I used: • 2 ounces vodka • 1/2 ounce coffee liqueur (I use Kahlúa) • 1.5-2 shots espresso, chilled (or cold brew concentrate) • 1/2 ounce simple syrup (I make my own, but you can also purchase this) • Garnish: coffee beans 1. Add vodka, coffee liqueur, espresso and simple syrup to a shaker filled with ice and shake until well-chilled and foamy. 2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. 3. Garnish with 3 coffee beans. 4. Enjoy. Save this for reference and let me know if you try it! ☕️🍸 P.S. I bartended in college, but never actually used the shot jigger. You might be able to notice. 😂
