35mm Film ....I don’t know what it is, but whenever I see a photo taken with film I get a feeling of nostalgia ... Film has a certain kind of esthetic to it, a certain kind of mood...with all of it’s perfect imperfections.. . And I think to myself why do I feel this, and I think it’s simply because I grew up in a time when people used film ... When families had stacks and stacks of photo albums...Maybe film simply reminds me of my past? . I wonder what kids that are growing up today will think of photos taken with film... Will they just think the photos look old or will they also get that feeling of nostalgia even though they grew up in a world where the vast majority of photos taken are on a phone? . This photo was taken this past July 4th... I shot mainly with my digital camera that night, but I lugged my film camera with me to take a few photos on film... .
