Surreal to see my name on the home page of @nymag @thecut — and in the subject line of the pub’s “One Great Story” newsletter 🥹 This was, no question, the most challenging assignment of my career, involving nearly 30 interviews, 6 months of writing (and rewriting and rewriting), and digging deep (often not so successfully) to find investigative chops inside me 👀 while juggling dozens of other assignments.
