I thought a lot yesterday of all the people who mother us. As we go through a hard time, those moments when you really want your mom - we’ve been wrapped in so much love. ⁣ My mama, first and foremost, always ready to fill the cracks with love. And also, our people. Wrapping us in ways only a mother can. Filling with righteous anger like only your family does. ⁣ ⁣ I am so grateful. For all our mothers. Happy Mother’s Day to all of us who show up for each other, it takes so much more than birth to do that. And always, for those who the day brings pain, I’m holding you close to my heart ❤️
