What I like about hiking is that you really have the time to look around and really experience the area you're in. It's also a nice way to meet people and to have nice conversations while you're moving through the landscape slowly. This is how @tamarvalkenier and I found out we visited the same nomad family in northern Mongolia. What a coincidence! It was super cool to hear about all of Tamar's adventures. I did a beautiful detour hike with @ariginell , who told me all about his projects back in Sweden and how life up north is. It was a wonderful time, with nice conversations in an amazing place. I got to know @joeytuyaerts , as it was our first project working together. We had so much fun and It felt like you'd known each-other for years, haha. We could talk about the perks and difficulties in our workfield but also about surfing and things in our personal life. It was cool to see @joeygbramel being in his element. He told me about his ambitions and how he got where he is now. It would be nice if we will meet in another adventure, because I would love to hear more. I met so many cool people how booked the trip. It felt like I was really part a it. Playing cardgames in the little hut, doing extra climbs with @arthur_v_galen and all kinds of stuff. It was so nice!
